Choose .docx, .txt, .md or an exported .json article. Import runs in your browser; the original document is not uploaded. Text and headings are transferred. Embedded images, tables, tracked changes, notes and complex formatting need separate review. Add source links and upload the cover photograph separately.

Start with a draft
Create a new article or import your document. Review the imported title, opening and sections. The importer does not transfer complex document layouts; add source links and imagery deliberately.
Keep the live article safe
Save draft changes as often as needed. Even on a published article, this keeps the live version unchanged. Preview uses your current text; only Publish replaces what readers see. A conflicting edit is rejected rather than silently overwriting someone else's work.
Use photographs with permission
The photograph library is for editorial assets. Upload a credit, accessibility description and permission note. Do not upload confidential reports, private identities or material you cannot publish.
Publish with evidence
The server requires a title, summary, introduction, at least one section and one original-source link, a valid date and your editorial confirmation. Publishing updates database-driven article pages, journal listings, RSS and the homepage's editor-published selection without a redeploy.
Maintain the legal references
Re-check the original source before changing the source-check date. State whether the evidence is a directory, metadata, translation or reviewed text. Never mark a law as fully verified simply because its webpage loads. Legal-source drafts are not public; saving an existing reference as draft removes it from the public register, unlike article draft changes.
Access and backups
Only an administrator or editor can use these tools. There is no hard-coded editor password. Keep deployment-level database and media backups; revision history and per-article exports are useful but are not disaster recovery. Unused images are retained for review and are not automatically deleted.
